Fuck that. How about actually DOING something.
Obama was elected so he could MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Don’t just sit on your ass in your comfy oval office. Get the fuck up and use your presidential power to prevent more MURDERS.
THE EGYPTION MILITARY IS FORCEFULLY TRYING TO GET RID OFF THE PEACEFUL PRO MORSI (PRO DEMOCRACY) PROTESTS USING TANKS AND GUNS RIGHT THIS SECOND.
BBC CLAIMS A COUPLE OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED BUT IN ACTUAL TRUTH ITS HUNDREDS AND ITS GOING TO BE MORE.
SPREAD THE WORD.
Thoughts going to Egypt right now… Death toll is at 278 with the recent outbursts of violence from military cracking down on pro-Morsi protests..
edit: My friend from Egypt had this to say:
” It’s not Egyptian protestors versus police…..It’s Egyptians+police+army against terrorism and fanatic muslims using religion for political gains.I just wanted to make that clear because media is interpreting the situation in Egypt in so many ways, most of which are unreal and mistaken.”
Holy shit people: SPEAK UP AGAINST THIS OUTRAGE. Tell others about the cruelty and MURDER happening in Egypt RIGHT NOW. Better yet, speak to your local/state officials about the importance of somehow helping these people be it with food or medical supplies. We need to get the president to understand that THIS is the kind of outrage the United States should act out against. Democracy, freedom, and justice for ALL people.
Obama needs to be proactive instead of simply stating that he ‘doesn’t like what’s going on in Egypt’. If he really cared he would try to help them.
